An incomplete lead or lead alloy flat spindle whorl, of Roman to Post Medieval dating (AD 43 - AD 1650). The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and rectangular in cross section. The edges are incomplete. The central hole is sub circular in shape and has been cast slightly off central. The internal diameter of the hole measures 4.2 mm wide. Both the upper and lower faces are flat. No decoration is present on either surface. The whorl has a diameter of 20.6 mm and is 3.9 mm thick. It weighs 8.2 g (0.29 oz). A complete lead or lead alloy artefact of uncertain function and dating, but possibly Medieval to Post Medieval (AD 1200 to AD 1800). The artefact is irregular in shape, it has a lower fleur de lys or lis terminal, which extends into a large crescent shaped plate. One side of the crescent plate has been folded over to the centre point. Both sides of the crescent exhibit raised decoration, although it is hard to identify the patterns. An incomplete copper alloy zoomorphic pendant, of uncertain dating, but probably Post Medieval (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The pendant consists of a sub oval suspension loop, with a circular hole located towards the top. This has an internal diameter of 4.7 mm. Below the suspension loop is a moulded zoomorphic figure, probably a lion. Both faces has have six moulded raised circular pellets, located around a slightly off centre perforation, with raised rim. The perforation which has an internal diameter of 8.6 mm.
