An incomplete fragment of a handmade curved ceramic roof tile type, known as Imbrex, of Roman dating (1st to 4th Centuries AD). The tile fragment is sub triangular in plan, with a shallow curved cross section. The ceramic fabric is oxidised (orangey red colour), with frequent large grog & metamorphic rock inclusions. One half of a pair of copper alloy sheet metal tweezers, probably of Roman dating (1 to 410 AD). The tweezers are incomplete, consisting of one side of a pair of tweezers. It is triangular in plan, with a diagonal base, and long tapering sides. Both the front and back are plain and undecorated.
