An incomplete cast lead powder flask cap, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD). Approximately 75% of the cap is present, with part of one side missing. It has been mishaped, probably due to movement in the ploughsoil. It is sub circular in plan, and sub rectangular in cross section. An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy bag seal, of probable Late Post Medieval to Modern dating (1700 to 1900 AD). The bag seal consists of two sub circular discs of lead or lead alloy pressed together. Approximately 50% of the front disc is present, with a stamped design. Only the letter H survives of the original design, with a floral design above and a pelleted border. The back is plain and undecorated. The bag seal is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. It measures 22.09mm in diameter and 5.12mm thick. It weighs 4.8 grams.
