The ingot is rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in section. It has bevelled sides.

Around 75% of the figurine is present. The head, hands and feet are missing, but the limbs and torso are present. The breaks are old and well patinated.
The figurine is in a standing pose, with right leg slightly bent. The right arm is bent at almost 90 degrees. The left leg and left arm are held almost straight. The head is missing at the neck. The genitals survive as a small circular lump between the legs, indicating that the figurine was originally male. On the reverse, the buttocks are rounded.

An incomplete copper alloy trumpet brooch of Roman dating (AD 75 to AD 175).
Over 75% of the brooch is present, with the pin and part of the catch plate missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
A sub circular head loop is located at the top of the brooch. Traces of iron corrosion products are present, below the loop at the head of the brooch. The bow extends outwards from the head. A central line of decoration consisting of two rouletted lines runs the length of the bow.
