An incomplete iron probable plate brooch, of probable Roman dating (2nd Century AD). The probable brooch is circular in shape, with two opposing triangular projections. One of these is flat, the other has a perpendicular (at right angles) projection extending downwards. This is probably the remnants of the catch plate.
