A complete enamelled copper alloy probable strap fitting of Roman dating (1st to 3rd centuries AD). The probable strap fitting consists of a triangular loop set at right angles to the head of the fitting. The head has a rectangular base but is triangular in cross section, with an apex ridge. The base is slightly recessed. The head has been decorated with four rows of inlaid enamel cells. Along both lower edges, is a row of five triangles, pointing upwards. An incomplete enamelled copper alloy strap slide or fitting, of Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (200 BC to AD 100). The strap fitting is sub rectangular in shape. The front has been decorated with a high relief design, within a wide border. Remnants of red enamel survive in the recesses of the design. The design consists of two petals (pointed ovals with a central circle), set at an angle and joined together by the stalk. A complete cast copper alloy four way strap or chain distributor of Medieval dating (c.1200 to c. 1500 AD). The distributor is cross like in shape, with an openwork oblique short-armed cross located at the centre.
