A complete copper alloy strap end, dating to the Late Medieval period, circa AD 1400-1450.
The strap end is triangular in plan and sub rectangular in cross section. The strap-end comprises of two plates, one which extends into a basal terminal; and a plain shorter back plate. The upper edges of the two plates are flat. Located on the body, visible on both sides are the circular rivets which hold the two plates together. Over 75% of the strap end is present, with both terminals incomplete. The top has an incomplete circular rivet hole (internal diameter: 2.2 mm) before extending downwards to a rectangular collar containing a second rivet hole. An incomplete copper alloy probable strap end of Late Early Medieval dating (AD 750 to AD 900).
The probable strap end is sub rectangular in shape, with one rounded terminal and one squared terminal. Long edge are bevelled. Both sides have been decorated with a similar design, with an engraved elongated V in parallel with the edges of the strap end. The squared terminal is incomplete.
It measures 28.4 mm in length, 7.3 mm wide and 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g.

The strap end consists of two pieces of sub rectangular sheet metal secured together. The lower corners have been angled to create a point in the centre.
It measures 26.9 mm in length, 11.3 mm wide and 3.0 mm thick. It weighs 2.5 g.
The strap end is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.
A similar strap end has been published as no 587 in Egan & Pritchard, 2002, p127, and has been dated to London ceramic phase 12, c. 1400 to 1450.

The probable strap end consists of a rectangular piece of sheet copper alloy metal. A circular perforation is present at the top. This has an internal diameter of 2.6 mm. The front of the plate has been decorated with a irregular curved wavy line made from rocker arm decoration. The strap end is sub rectangular in shape. It has a split end at the top, which contains some soil and some mineralised textile. The split end has a V shaped top. Two circular sectioned copper alloy rivets are present in the spilt end. These have a diameter of 2.7 mm. The lower end is V shaped, with a central point. The front has been decorated with an engraved border beneath the rivets and transverse lines along the edge. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

Around 50% of the strap end is present, consisting of the top half with the attachment rivets. The strap end was originally tongue shaped. The upper (attachment) end is recessed on the front for a missing separate plate. Two circular attachment rivets are present at the top of the strap end. They have a diameter of 2.5 mm.

An incomplete copper alloy strap end spacer of Medieval dating (circa AD 1350-1450).
Around 50% of the spacer is present, with both arms incomplete. The spacer has a decorative knop in the form of an acorn. Below the acorn is a narrowed collar from which it joins to the integral arms of the spacer which are incomplete. The now damaged arms form the portion of the spacer which would have been positioned within the two plates of the strap end. The acorn cup is decorated with a series of criss crossing linear indentations.

A complete copper alloy tongue-shaped strap end, of Late Early Medieval dating (c. AD 850 to c. AD 1100).
The strap end is tongue-shaped, with a rectangular attachment end. The attachment end still contains two circular sectioned copper alloy rivets. These have a diameter of 2.8 mm. The front of the plat has been decorated in high relief, with probably a Winchester-style foliate decoration surrounding a central motif, possibly a figure. The reverse is concave.

Around 50% of the strap end is present, consisting of an incomplete front plate and a partial back plate. The front plate is rectangular with a semi circular end and is broken into two fragments. The reverse plate is sub rectangular in shape. The upper plate is flat with bevelled edges which extend under the reverse plate. An incomplete silver zoomorphic strap end, of early Medieval dating (AD 750-950 AD). Less than 50% of the strap end is present. The decorative detail on the strap end is consistent with that of a Thomas Class A, Type 1 style strap end.
The strap end is flat and is sub triangular. It has a moulded zoomorphic terminal, which represents an animal head with large round ears. An incomplete decorative panel is positioned above the animal head.
