An incomplete knapped or flaked flint leaf shaped arrowhead, of Neolithic dating (c. 3500 BC to c. 2500 BC).
The arrowhead is approximately 95% complete, missing a small fragment from the bottom. The arrowhead is leaf shaped in plan, consisting of a pointed oval shape.. It has been made from a piece of tertiary debitage as no cortex (outer rind) is visible on either the dorsal (upper) and ventral (lower) faces. The arrowhead is approximately 90% complete, missing the pointed tip. The arrowhead is leaf shaped in plan, and would have consisted of a pointed oval shape with a semi circular base. It has been made from a piece of tertiary debitage as no cortex (outer rind) is present on either the dorsal (upper) or ventral (lower) faces. Both faces exhibit a large amount of controlled flaking, with retouch present along the edges.
