An incomplete gold and gem finger ring of Medieval dating (13th Century AD). Around 50 percent of the finger ring is present, with one shoulder and part of the hoop missing. The bezel consists of a raised hexagonal collet, with a partial green gem inside. Four circular satellite collets are located to either side and top and bottom. A complete copper alloy finger ring with incised decoration, most likely of medieval date (1200 to 1500 AD). The finger ring consists of a cast copper alloy hoop with incised decoration. It has a square shaped cross section. The hoop exhibits a repeating series of small diagonal incised lines all around the circumference of the hoop. The interior of the ring is plain and undecorated. No inscription is presnet. The ring measures: 20.2 mm external diameter, 17.5 mm internal diameter, 2.1 mm width and 1.5 mm thick. It weighs 1.2 grams. The ring is mid to dark green colour with a…
