An incomplete illegible silver coin, of uncertain dating, but possibly Roman. Both the obverse and reverse types are heavily worn and illegible.The coin has been burnt and folded in half. XRF analysis using a handheld XRF device has indicated that the coin has been made from a silver and copper alloy, with trace amounts of lead and iron present.

A complete silver possible coin, of possible Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The possible coin is misshapen, possibly due to having been subjected to a heat source. Both the obverse and reverse are unclear. It is possible to make out the remains of probable letters along one edge, reading [ ]IVS[ ].

Thickness: 1.93 mm
Weight: 1.3 g.
The identification of this artefact as a coin is only a possibility, due to the shape and thickness. It is possibly a piece of undiagnostic casting waste.

A complete but heavily worn, struck / hammered copper alloy coin, of uncertain dating (AD 200 to AD 1650).
The coin is heavily worn, but it is possible to determine a crowned head facing left with pointy beard on the obverse and a possible standing figure on the reverse. The bust on the obverse is similar to that of Charles I of England (AD 1625 to AD 1649) but the size of the copper alloy coin and reverse is not consistent with the range of coins known from that period.
