A complete silver Sceat, of the Series B type (Bird on cross), dating to c. AD 695 to c. AD 700. The obverse depicts a diademed bust right within a beaded circle. The reverse depicts a central cross, with bird facing right above, annulet to either side of cross and an additional cross pattee upper right. C.f. BMC 27b, North vol 1, p 66, no 128. S 777A.
