An incomplete copper alloy sheet metal probable buckle plate of Medieval dating (AD 1150 to AD 1500). The buckle plate is almost rectangular in shape. Three edges appear to be original, the fourth exhibits an old break. Two holes are present along one of the short sides, located in the corners, a third is present in the centre of the plate. The corner holes have an internal diameter of 1.6 mm. The central hole measures internally of 3.9 mm by 1.7 mm. Two rows of rouletted decoration run around the outside of the probable buckle frame.
