An incomplete copper alloy sheet metal probable buckle plate of Medieval dating (AD 1150 to AD 1500). The buckle plate is almost rectangular in shape. Three edges appear to be original, the fourth exhibits an old break. Two holes are present along one of the short sides, located in the corners, a third is present in the centre of the plate. The corner holes have an internal diameter of 1.6 mm. The central hole measures internally of 3.9 mm by 1.7 mm. Two rows of rouletted decoration run around the outside of the probable buckle frame. A complete copper alloy double loop rectangular buckle frame, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1570 to AD 1700). The frame is almost rectangular in plan, with slightly concave sides, and also concave in profile, with a raised moulded inner edge and bevelled outside edge. The back of the frame is flat and flush with the back of the pin bar. The pin bar is narrowed and slightly recessed from the upper outer mouldings.
