An incomplete possible dolphin headed copper alloy buckle, of late Roman dating (4th to 5th Centuries AD).
The possible buckle exhibits two biting animal heads, possibly dolphins, grasping a ball or egg shaped object between their jaws. On either side of the animal heads is a circular attachment lug, with a circular hole positioned centrally. The hole has an internal diameter of 1.8 mm.
