obverse: KAROLVS DEI GRA DVX BG BRAB [ ]M; square topped shield bearing the quartered arms of Burgundy.
reverse: SIT NOMEN DOMINI BENEDICTVM AM; ornate cross fleuretty with a central lozenge containing a lion rampant (very worn). Initial and reverse mark hard to determine.. Double annulet stops on obverse and reverse. Die axis 10 o'clock.
