An incomplete pewter (tin alloy) spoon, of Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1600s to AD 1700s). Only the bowl survives as a result of old breaks. The spoon bowl is sub circular in plan with the sides narrowing to the neck of the handle. The spoon is concave in section. The surfaces of the spoon are plain and undecorated. Soil still adheres to the surfaces making observation of the colour and patination of the spoon uncertain. A complete cast tin alloy button dating from the Post Medieval to Modern periods, circa AD1600-1800. The button is circular in plan view. The button head is sub rectangular in section with an attachment loop behind. The face of the button has an incised circular design. The back of the button is plain with an integrally cast circular suspension loop in the centre of the button. Diameter: 28.33mm. Thickness of the face of the button is 2.28mm which increases to 11.90mm when including the suspension loop. Weight: 8.9g

An incomplete cast differentially corroded hook-shaped dense base-metal object, of probable Bronze Age dating. The artefact is semi-circular in plan, and oval in cross section. It has a rectangular hollow opening, which still contains some soil. The top then flattens out before narrowing and curving to a point. In form and size it resembles the tusk of a pig or wild boar.
