A minimum of three lead or lead alloy, possible vat or tanks, of uncertain dating but possibly Early Medieval (AD 750 to AD 1000). The three vats were originally found together, but are now fragmentary. All three vats have oval bases, and originally upright walls, however they have all been flattened, with the sides pressed inwards. A complete lead alloy bar shot (dumbell shot), of Post Medieval dating (17th Century). The shot consists of two spheres of 15.4 mm diameter joined together by a short circular sectioned bar of 5.9 mm diameter. It does not appear as if the shot has been fired. It measures 31.4 mm in length and a diameter of 15.4 mm. It weighs 38.5 g. The shot is a light grey colour, with an even surface patina. The other end exhibits knife cut facets, tapering to a point. A patinated break is present at the top of the stylus. It measures 18.5 mm in length, with a diameter of 5.2 mm. It weighs 3.3 g. An incomplete lead star of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1550). The star has six curving rays, with a raised rib in the centre. Raised pellets are positioned along the edge of each ray. No attachment points are present on the reverse. It measures 15.7 mm in length, 16.6 mm wide and 3.2 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g. Two similar lead stars have been recorded from the same field, FAKL-356B49. Stars of this type were attached, as decoration, to the ceilings of buildings (Egan, 2005, 69-71).
