An incomplete lead star of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1550). The star has six curving rays, with a raised rib in the centre. Raised pellets are positioned along the edge of each ray. No attachment points are present on the reverse. It measures 15.7 mm in length, 16.6 mm wide and 3.2 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g. Two similar lead stars have been recorded from the same field, FAKL-356B49. Stars of this type were attached, as decoration, to the ceilings of buildings (Egan, 2005, 69-71).
