The lead flask is rounded with a tall sub-rectangular flaring neck and retains the stubs of an attachment loop on the left side. The right hand side attachment loop has been folded over. The faces of the object would have been flat or slightly convex, but have been pressed in, or flattened. The upper and lower faces have been decorated with a similar design involving a curvilinear line with pellets above and below the curves. An almost complete lead alloy or very base copper alloy medal, celebrating the Coronation of George V in 1911. The edges of the medal are damaged, and corrosion products obscure some of the details. The obverse depicts the conjoined busts of King George V and Queen Anne. The legend originally read: CORONATION OF KING GEORGE V JUNE 22ND 1911.
