Two complete Russian bale seals of the Cross-in-Shield type, of 18th to 19th Century AD dating. Both seals are of the same type, with a cross-in-shield within a beaded border on the obverse. On one seal, it is possible to see six pellets in the top left quarter and five in the top right quarter. The reverse bears the ligated initials WB and the number 9K beneath. They are of the 'bulla' type of seal, where there is space for two wires or strings to pass through the seal as opposed to discs and rivets. The bag seal is sub circular in shape and consists of two circular discs of lead alloy metal pressed together to secure the string. A complete two part lead alloy seal, of probable Post Medieval to Modern dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). The seal is sub circular in plan and consists of 2 discs folded together, with the stud hammered flat on the reverse. The front is unclear, but probably has a Crown at the top, with a word beginning with 'E' beneath. The seal has a diameter of 20.43 mm and is 4.93 mm thick. It weighs 6.2 g. The seal is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy, probable bag seal, of probable Post Medieval dating (16th to 18th Centuries AD). The seal consists of one circular stamped disc, with a flattened triangular spike on the reverse. The front appears to be plain and undecorated apart from two incuse initials 'E R'. The seal measures 20.28 mm in diameter and is 5.25 mm thick. It weighs 4.3 grams. The seal is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. The bag seal consists of two sub circular discs of lead or lead alloy pressed together. Approximately 50% of the front disc is present, with a stamped design. Only the letter H survives of the original design, with a floral design above and a pelleted border. The back is plain and undecorated. The bag seal is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. It measures 22.09mm in diameter and 5.12mm thick. It weighs 4.8 grams.
