An incomplete lead alloy bag or cloth seal, of probable Post medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The seal consists of two circular discs, joined by a rectangular strip. The top disc is circular with traces of writing around the edge. The inscription is incomplete but it is possible to read [ ]GOT[ ]. On the back of the top disc is a triangular rivet, which extends through a central hole on the lower disc. Several punch marks are present around the hole on the lower disc. An incomplete silvered lead alloy, probable button, of uncertain dating but probably Post Medieval (AD 1600 to AD 1800). Approximately 25-50% of the button survives. It is sub oval in shape. The front depicts a long cross with rouletted edges. Traces of silvering survive in the recess. The back bears no design or feature. It measures 21.4 mm in length, 15.6 mm wide and 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 3.4 g. No direct parallel to this fragment was found at the time of recording. The style of the cross is more suggestive that it could be a button but this identification is not definite.

The top surface is sub oval in shape, with a rounded edge, and a concaved surface. Below this, the jet narrows to a point, with slightly facetted sides. The head is a flat disc, with bevelled edges. Due to abrasion, the decorative detail on the front of the button is hard to determine.
