An incomplete neck sherd of a wheel thrown moulded ceramic vessel, of Late Roman dating (Mid 3rdto 5th Centuries AD). The necksherd is consistent with that of the Oxfordshire colour coated fabric type, with a red/pink fabric and a dark red slip.The shape of the sherd is consistent with a ring necked flagon type such as a C8.5 (Young1977).
