Two (2) incomplete fragment of two clay tobacco pipes bowl of late Post Medieval date (c.1660-1680).
The first pipe fragment consists of part of the bowl and the heel. It measures 33.36mm high, 30.15mm in length, and 10.13mm wide. The heel length is 11.61mm. The bore diameter is 3.65mm. It weighs 5.6 grams. The bowl style is similar to Oswald's type 2 and dates from c.1660 to c.1680 (Oswald, 1975). No maker's marks are present.

The sherds vary in thickness from 14.79mm to 27.53mm. In total they weigh 88.2 grams.
The sherds have a dark grey reduced fabric, with frequent metamorphic rock inclusions. These inclusions are suggestive of the Malvernian pottery industry, and consistent with Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (200 BC to 100 AD).

Four (4) fragments of ceramic roof tile.
The fragments include imbrex, both of Roman dating (1st to 4th Centuries AD). Ceramic tile fragments such as these are indicative of a Roman building being present in the vicinity of the site. It is possible that some of the fragments are from later ceramic building material fragments and are of Post Medieval dating (1600 to 1800 AD onwards).
All four fragments exhibit a high degree of abrasion, with surfaces being lost and edges being rounded.
