An incomplete clay pipe (smoking) of early to mid seventeenth century AD dating (AD 1620 to AD 1660). Most of the bowl survives, but the rim is incomplete. A horizontal line is present just below the rim. The bowl is slightly bulbous and curves upwards at an angle of 45 degrees. A circular foot is present with a maker's mark depicting the initials HP within a circular cartouche. Only a small part of the stem survives.
