One (1) bodysherd of a wheelthrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (13th to 14th Centuries AD).
The sherd is 7.56mm thick and weighs 11.5 grams. It is 39.45mm wide and 36.92mm long.
The sherd has an oxidised fabric, with frequent small charcoal like inclusions. Traces of a green glaze with a white slip underneath are present on the exterior of the sherd. The fabric and the glazing is indicative of a local (unsourced) Medieval jug fabric, probably from the Worcestershire area.

A ceramic vessel sherd of probable medieval date. The sherd is grog and calcite grit tempered with fine 20 per cent inclusions. It has a black core, an orange exterior and a grey interior. It measures 37.99 mm long, 31.59 mm wide, 8.99 mm thick and weighs 13.4 grams. Quite possibly from a flat bottomed cooking pot.

An incomplete rimsherd from a wheel thrown vessel, of Late Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1400).
The rimsherd measures 43.75 mm in length, 62.49 mm wide and 12.09 mm thick. It weighs 36.7 g. The interior exhibits traces of a dark green glaze. The fabric consists of a light grey, gritty fabric. The exterior shows evidence of possible burning.
The rimsherd is probably from a large open bowl type vessel, in a fabric consistent with a local (unsourced) cooking pot type of Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1400).

The rim sherd consists of a fabric similar to that known as Tudor Green, dating from the 15th to 16th Centuries AD. Tudor Green type wares consist of a pale fabric with a green glaze on both the interior and exterior of the vessel. The rimsherd probably came from a large open bowl type vessel.

A fragment from a wheelthrown ceramic vessel.
The fragment consist of a handle, part of the rim, and part of the body. The handle is 24.9 mm wide, 19.8 mm thick and 93.6 mm in length. The fragment is 94.9 mm long, 116.5 mm wide and 93.6 mm thick. It weighs 153.9 g.
The fabric is a hard oxidised fabric, with a frequent quartz (sand) temper, which is suggestive of a Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). The style of the handle and the shape of the rim present indicates that the original vessel may have been an urinal or 'piss pot'.

The rimsherd is consistent with that of a Samian fabric type, possibly from La Graufesenque in South Gaul, and is consistent with Mid to Late 1st Century dating.
