One (1) sherd of a flat handmade ceramic roof tile. It consists of a sandy fabric, similar in style and texture to ceramic fabrics described in Ratkai (2000). No glaze is present. The exterior and interior surfaces are oxidised, and the core is unoxidised. No glaze is present. It probably dates from the Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval period. The sherd measures: 40.85mm length, 48.06mm width, 11.85mm thick and weighs 26.8 grams.

Three (3) fragments of hand made ceramic tiles, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The tile fragments consist of a local (unsourced) unglazed earthenware, with frequent fine quartz and grit inclusions, dating from the 11th to 15th Centuries AD. Together they weigh 121.2 g. An incomplete plain glazed ceramic floor tile, of later medieval dating (13th to 15th Centuries AD). Approximately 75% of the tile is present, in two joining fragments. It consists of a orangey red oxidised ceramic tile with a light transparent green speckled glaze. The glaze extends down the original edges. The floor tile would probably have been square in shape. Four original edges survive. The base is rough and uneven, indicating that it was made on a sand surface. The tile measures 97.5mm in length, 96.6mm in width and 29.1mm thick. It weighs 380 grams.
