The exterior tends to have a light green glaze. This sherd probably came from a jug type vessel. The sherd measures 5.98 MM thick and weighs 4.0 grams. A fragment from a wheelthrown ceramic vessel. The fragment consist of a handle, part of the rim, and part of the body. The handle is 24.9 mm wide, 19.8 mm thick and 93.6 mm in length. The fragment is 94.9 mm long, 116.5 mm wide and 93.6 mm thick. It weighs 153.9 g. The fabric is a hard oxidised fabric, with a frequent quartz (sand) temper, which is suggestive of a Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600).
