It consists of a square cartouche, with two lines of lettering. The top row is unclear, but the bottom row reads GHS. The rim of the bowl exhibits a small amount of rouletting.

The clay tobacco pipe has been moulded from a white pipeclay.
The pipe fragment consists of an incomplete bowl and part of the stem. Moulded decoration is present on the sides of the bowl, consisting of diagonal foliate leaves, with three diagonally orientated pellets in between, along the mould lines and in the middle of the bowl. A rimsherd of a wheelthrown iron glazed ceramic vessel.
The sherd is 7.33mm thick and weighs 30.1g. It is 28.84mm long and 51.04mm wide.
The sherd consists of a rim sherd, most likely from a large storage jar, in a dark brown, iron rich fabric with white calcium inclusions. Both the interior and exterior surfaces are a shiny dark reddy brown colour and have been glazed with an iron rich glaze.
The fabric is similar to that of Midlands Purple, and dates from the 15th to 17th Centuries.

The chicken feeder is circular in plan, with three vertical concentric partitions on the front face and a flat base. It has a diameter of 16cm, is 4.2cm tall and the base is 1.1cm thick. It weighs 700 grams. The internal partitions are 0.82cm thick. The fabric consists of an oxidised matrix, with occasional mica and red clay inclusions, similar to a flower pot type earthenware, most consistent with an local (unsourced) fabric type, of 18th to 19th Century dating.
