CAROLVS DG MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX obverse type depicting Charles on horseback, with long scarf & sash tied in a bow at his waist, upright sword (Group III equestrian portrait). CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO reverse type depicting an oval garnished shield. Reverse is doublestruck. Mintmark (R) indicating that it was minted at the Tower Mint under Parliament. North type 2213.
