The front fact of the mount is domed (convex) and the rear is recessed (concave). The front of the mount has been decorated with a series of incised linear lines, which form a crude, stylised crowned head. A complete copper alloy double loop rectangular buckle frame, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1570 to AD 1700). The frame is almost rectangular in plan, with slightly concave sides, and also concave in profile, with a raised moulded inner edge and bevelled outside edge. An incomplete copper alloy handle from a candle stick ejector key, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1800 to AD 1900). The key has an openwork trefoil handle, arranged in a triad, with a knop at the top outside edge, with a transverse collar below. The shaft is oval in cross section, and is threaded below the collar. It measures 35.0 mm in length, 21.3 mm wide and 4.9 mm thick. It weighs 4.8g. Key like this were used to eject the stem of a candlestick. Similar items have been recorded on the PAS database, including: DOR-F8C076, LIN-666663 and LIN-420893.
