The frame is almost rectangular in plan, with slightly concave sides, and also concave in profile, with a raised moulded inner edge and bevelled outside edge. The key has an openwork trefoil handle, arranged in a triad, with a knop at the top outside edge, with a transverse collar below. The shaft is oval in cross section, and is threaded below the collar.
