An incomplete copper alloy strap or belt mount fitting of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1700). The mount had original two integral attachment spikes at the rear, set on the long axis and both bent downwards. Only one lug is present now, and has been folded over at ninety degrees. The mount has a central oval plate with a projection top and bottom. The top projection is in the form of a crown, the lower one is a crude fleur-de-lys. The decoration on the oval plate is unclear. Semi circular end caps are present at either end. The front is convex (domed) and the reverse is concave. The front has been decorated with a series of fourteen wide ridges, each around 2.8 mm wide. A complete square piece of sheet copper alloy, of uncertain dating, but probably Medieval (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The artefact consists of a thin square sheet of copper alloy with two circular perforations, located in opposite corners. These perforations have an internal diameter of 1.4 mm. Bevelling of the edges of the holes on one side of the copper alloy indicate that they were made by drilling through from one side. An incomplete copper alloy multifoil mount, of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1450). The mount is domed, with a concave underside and is of the multifoil type, having twelve teardrop shaped lobes. In the centre of the reverse is the remains of a separate iron attachment shank. The mount has a diameter of 28.64 mm and is 8.10 mm thick. It weighs 9.6 g. The mount is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina. Several similar mount have been recorded on the PAS database including YORYM-E1BEf7 and SWYOR-360E31. These have been dated to the Medieval period (AD 1350 to AD 1450).
