An incomplete copper alloy mount or furniture fitting of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The mount has a square flat head, with a circular sectioned attachment spike to the reverse. This attachment spike is incomplete, it has a diameter of 4.2 mm. The front of the mount bears the remains of a saltire design within a square border. It measures 16.0 mm in length, 16.7 mm wide and 2.4 mm thick (not including attachment spike). It is 9.2 mm thick including the attachment spike. It weighs 3.6 g. An incomplete copper alloy mount of medieval date. It consists of a rectangular plate with concave surface, with a trefoil or fleur-de-lis projection at one end. The outer foils, or leaves of the fleur, each have a circular hole which may originally have been used for attachment. In the centre of the fleur is a diagonal grooved cross or saltire. The fleur-de-lis or trefoil terminal is connected to the rest of the long, thin mount by a narrowed concave neck. The mount then tapers very slightly to expand again at the broken end. Fragment of a long, thin cast copper alloy medieval mount, with a slightly concave reverse. It has one complete rivet hole in the centre of a panel which is D-shaped in cross-section. This is flanked at either end by a transverse ridge or collar and then a square, slightly raised panel which is rectangular in cross-section. One end is broken across this panel, perhaps at a rivet hole.
