A complete copper alloy double looped oval 'spectacle' buckle frame and pin, of Early Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1550 to c. AD 1650). The buckle frame and pin are present. Any strap plate is presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle frame is a double looped oval buckle, with multiple oblique lines on the outer edges. Scalloped shaped knops are present as pin rests on the outer loops. Fluted knops are present either end of the strap bar. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
