An incomplete enamelled probable harness pendant of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). The pendant is flat, and sub rectangular in shape. The design on the front is that of an octofoil, an eight petalled flower, with a central pellet. Each petal is a pointed oval. The four in the corners have red enamel, the four inbetween have blue enamel. At the top is a square suspension loop (internal diameter: 3.5 mm). The spindle whorl is sub circular in shape, and lentoid in section.
