Five sherds (1 rimsherds, and 4 body sherds) of several different wheel thrown Medieval pottery types. Two main types are present: Cotswold oolitic limestone cooking pot types (12th to 14th Centuries) and Worcestershire glazed jug types (13th to 15th Centuries). The vessel types that are probably represented here included glazed jugs. Unglazed cooking pot types are present as well. This is representative of a typical Medieval ceramic assemblage. The buckle frame consists of a double looped oval buckle frame, with bevelled edges to the frame. The pin and strap plate are not present. The edges of the buckle frame are raised higher than the central bar. The buckle is a mid dark green to brown, with an uneven surface patina. Abrasion has resulted in the loss of surface detail and patina from the edges and flat surfaces. The buckle frame measures 23.77mm in length, 19.70mm wide and 2.32mm thick. It weighs 2.3 grams. …

A probable incomplete cast copper alloy foot / leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1700 AD). The vessel fragment is sub rectangular in plan and semi circular in cross section. It consists of a curved body, with an irregular rough surface, both at the back, top and bottom. Part of a cast copper alloy buckle plate from a Late Medieval single loop trapezoidal buckle, dating from c.1350 to c. 1500. The find consists of the front part of a folded buckle plate. It is irregular in plan, but probably originally would have been rectangular in shape. The left hand edge demonstrates two rectangular projections (one complete (12.85mm, one partially), which would have been folded around the central spindle (bar) of the buckle.
