An incomplete copper-alloy (bronze) cast horse harness fitting or strap distributor, dating from the late Iron age to the early Roman period ( c.50BC-AD50). The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object. The complete rings have an internal diameter of 9.7 mm and 8.8 mm. A incomplete enamelled harness fitting of probable late Iron Age dating (100 BC to 100 AD). The harness fitting is an irregular shape, almost comma shaped, with a rounded head and a squared tail. The upper surface is flat, with five panels of enamel decoration. The rounded head has three enamel panels, each a lentoid or pointed oval shape, creating a triskele shape between them.
