The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object. The complete rings have an internal diameter of 9.7 mm and 8.8 mm. The fragmenst present were part of a larger sub-circular thick fired clay disc or discs, commonly found in Middle to Late Iron Age (500 BC to 100 AD) sites.
