The artefact is of an openwork design. It has a rectangular cross section. The artefact tapers down from a wide mouth to a narrow rounded base. Description: A cast silver artefact comprising a three-dimensional representation of a fish-like animal. The artefact is in two pieces, consisting of the main body of the animal and a separate tail fragment.

A copper alloy stirrup strap mount, of Early Medieval dating (eleventh century dating).
The mount is probably of Williams Class A mounts, Type 16. It is sub-rectangular in shape and has an rounded perforated apex for attachment. It is slightly convexed. The flange at the bottom is a common right angled flange, and the two rivet holes are located above the flange on the front plate. The design on the front is hard to determine but it could depict an animal with large ears and a pointed nose. It is similar to numbers 361-363 illustrated in Williams (1997, page 78; figure 50).

Description:
A gilded silver fragment of a cast object, possibly a bow brooch. The fragment comprises a jagged plate-like piece which slopes lightly downwards from a central ridge. The ridge is plain silver, is grooved and flares slightly at each end. The surviving areas flanking the ridge are gilded, and are decorated with a raised annulet within a ?semi-circular panel demarcated by a raised line. On the reverse is a raised rib, possibly the remains of a catch-plate, with remains of gilding.

An incomplete gilded copper alloy button brooch of early Medieval dating (Anglo-Saxon, c. 450-550).
Around 50% of the brooch is present. The walls and pin are missing. The brooch comprises a circular base with incomplete angled walls (turned outwards) surrounding it. Description: An incomplete early medieval gold setting, probably once attached to a larger object. The setting is circular and consists of a sheet gold back-plate to which has been soldered a composite collar, made from a gold strip set edge-on to the plate, and surrounded by a single strand of gold beaded wire. The beaded wire is noticeable worn. The back-plate is pressed inwards slightly and has a small oval tear towards one edge. The original inlay, probably glass or a gemstone such as garnet, is missing.

An incomplete copper alloy hooked tag, of Early Medieval dating (Late 8th to 9th Centuries AD).
Approximately 90% of the hooked tag is present, with the hook being incomplete. The plate is circular shaped. The attachment holes are missing. The bottom point of the inverted drop-shaped plate tapers into an incomplete backward-facing hook. No decoration appears to be present.
The hooked tag measures 35.6 mm in length and 20.6 mm wide. It is 4.5 mm thick. It weighs 4.0 g.

An incomplete copper alloy linked pin set, of Middle Anglo-Saxon dating (8th Century AD).
Only the central circular pin head survives out of the set of three. It has been decorated with a quartered design. In the centre of each quarter is a spiral of three feathered tendrils. A complete cast silver mount dating to the early medieval period. It is tongue-shaped, with a flat top, curved base and straight sides. The front is decorated in the Winchester Style with a pair of creatures (possibly birds or wyverns) at both top and bottom, their heads turned over their backs with a long tail that curls into the centre, where it meets a feline mask. The back is concave with a rectangular lug at the top. Two rivets are present at the base, one iron and the other silver. The top edge appears to be complete.

The object consists of a triple knobbed loop located at both ends with an oval shaped knop positioned centrally. Rectangular projections extend above and below the central oval knop, indicating it may have been a four way harness link or strap distributor. The edges are bevelled. The back is flat, with a recess behind the oval knop.

An incomplete copper alloy, probable domed or spherical artefact, of uncertain form and function, but probably of 11th Century AD dating.
The fragment has a cruciform shape, with a concave undecorated reverse. The front has a central raised section, with four ring and dot punched designs, each one positioned at the junction between the 'arms'. The junctions between the 'arms' are partial circular perforations. Each 'arm' has a large raised pellet on it but no ring and dot punch. Polishing is present on the top of the central dome. The mount is in the shape of a fleur-de-lys with an integral suspension loop beneath. The suspension loop would hold the handle of the vessel. Gold possible brooch, of early-medieval (probable 5th-century) date.
Description: The object consists of a circular base-plate of gold sheet with a three-dimensional figure of a crouching, four-legged animal (a feline?) mounted along the diameter and buttressed by a pair of supporting zoomorphic heads on either side that rise and curve inwards from the base.
