Object type: TOKEN
Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL
County: Essex
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Post Medieval copper alloy traders token (farthing), issued by John Allcock of Maiden Lane (London), in 1666.
This token appears to be recorded in Williamson (1889, pg. 669), no. 1861. However, this listing describes the reverse as listing I. E. A. whereas this example clearly shows I. B. A. It is possible that Williamson mis-transcribed this token, or that it is a new type, previously unrecorded.
