A complete late medieval zoomorphic copper-alloy ewer spout probably dating c. AD 1400-1550. The object is curved, hollow and tubular in form. One terminal is in the shape of a dog's head with an open mouth and a projecting circular pouring spout. The dog's moulded head has a squared brow and a slightly raised square-shaped snout. A pot mend of uncertain Roman to Post-Medieval date c. AD 43-1900.  The mend is is now mostly an uneven domed shape with a flat base from which it contracts and then slightly expands to a convex terminal. It has an white/cream colour. The object is 19.23 mm in length, 8.65 mm high and weighs 11.77g Pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken pottery vessels.

A complete copper alloy ewer spout dating to the later medieval period (c.AD 1400-1500). The spout takes the form of a plain baluster shape with the attachment flange then waisted in before becoming a larger circumference ball, which in turn, is waisted in, terminating with a small knop at the spout opening. There is evidence of two very worn circumferential lines around the larger portion of the spout. Although now heavily corroded, the spout mouth has a sub-triangular form. The object consists of an irregular, concave-convex, sub-square sheet of metal.  A separate sheet of copper-alloy metal has been attached on both sides with two copper-alloy rivets with large circular flat heads (diameter: 12.59 mm and 8.06 mm). It is undecorated. It is plano-convex cross-section with a raised central longitudinal rib on the convex side. Both ends are broken. It is very worn. A ceramic fragment. Probably Roman shelly tempered / calcite ware. Body sherd with parallel marks suggesting the vessel was wheel thrown. The core is reduced dark grey with crushed shell inclusions. No visible decoration on the exterior surface. It is 34.98 mm long, 28.40 mm wide, 6.45 mm thick and weighs 8.20g. Probably Roman 'Dales-type' ware which was produced in the Lincolnshire area and widely distributed across Northern Britain in the 3rd and 4th centuries AD.

A foot of a cast copper-alloy medieval vessel dating to c.AD 1200-1500. Only the foot has survived. It is sub-rectangular and plano-convex, thinning and tapering towards a broken blunt point. On the convex side are two prominent longitudinal ridges running the entire length of the leg. At the widest end, the uppermost portion that would have originally butted the vessel, is triangular in cross-section with a smoothed curved profile.
