Sherd of Roman grey ware.
It is irregular in plan (almost trapezoidal) and is broken along all edges. Running horizontally is a raised rounded ridge, which would probably have run around the whole pot as decoration, this is the outer face.

Roman grey ware body sherd.
Sub-rectilinear in plan with all edges broken. The fabric is grey with some inclusions, the two surfaces are darker than the inner fabric. The thickest side measures 9.39mm, tapering to 6.21mm. This thickening is where the sherd meets the rim but very little remains. The outer face has two lines, forming an upside down L which have been scratched into the surface, revealing the lighter coloured fabric. This may be deliberate decoration or could be plough damage.

One blue rectangular glass bead, Early Medieval in date.
The blue bead is sub-rectangular in plan with a circular perforation in the middle that indicates its use to be hung on a thread. One end is broken so it is not even.

One annular blue glass bead, Early Medieval in date.
It has been squashed but retains the small central hole running through. It is blue with darker shades striping through the centre of the bead. The bead appears to have been damaged during production as it is out of shape and also has small hollows missing, probably air bubbles.
