Modern aluminium colliery workers token. The token is circular in plan with a suspension perforation at the top. It was used at Salterford Colliery, Cliviger, while the colliery was run by the National Coal Board (N.C.B.). The token is uniface and has been stamped with [N.]C.B 163 S[ALTER]FORD. The token dates to sometime in the period that the colliery was open, which was from 1948 to 1959 AD. Diameter 32mm, weight 1.40g.

Post Medieval to Modern white metal pot mend from a large metal or ceramic vessel. It is sub-triangular in plan. In profile and section there is a noticeable rounded stepped lip on the smoother side. The other side has a roughly cast semi-circular ridge approximately 9mm high and 9mm wide. This produces a concavity that partially contains a circular perforation. Modern white metal and layered chalcedony hinged bracelet. No assay marks so probably white metal rather than silver. The overall form is typical of Art Deco, or Deco influenced, with some more traditional decorative elements. The bezel is set with a brown to white layered chalcedony, probably either a banded onyx or agate. The overall effect is of an eye within a border. The 'iris' of the 'eye' appears to be set with nacre or Mother Of Pearl. The shoulders of the band are decorated with floral scrolls within an enclosed beaded border. Post Medieval white metal zoomorphic object, probably a pin cushion or salt cellar or toy. It has repoussé decoration resembling the fleece or fur coat of an animal. The object is shaped like an animal, probably a sheep, looking back over it's shoulder, and is hollow. The head, ends of two of the legs, the back and tail are absent. If it was originally a pincushion or salt then there would have been a void on the back where the pad of the pincushion or the liner of the salt would have been housed. Post Medieval white metal alloy mount in the form of a snarling beast's head, probably a lion, possibly a tiger or dragon. The object has been cast, some fine detail has then been cut in, & it has then had some type of silver coloured finish applied. Stylistically it appears influenced by Eastern art, probably Japanese, but may have been produced in Asia or Asia Minor, possibly as a vessel mount. No valid comparison found so far. Ingot of an undetermined white metal, shaped with many hammer blows. It is of unknown age. The ingot is as it came out of the ground and has not been tarnished by the soil.It is heavy enough to be electrum but there is no yellow to its colour. Another similar object has been found nearby. The length is 39mm, width 20mm, thickness 9mm, and the weight is 8.76g.
