An incomplete flat cast copper alloy object. The object comprises a lozenge-shaped plate pierced with a circular hole; from the base of this extends a curving arm, possibly one of originally two. The original extent of this remaining arm is unclear but there appears to be the broken edge of a rivet hole through the terminal. This is possibly part of the suspension for a vessel.

A complete vessel spout in the shape of an animal's (possibly a dog's) head. The size and length of the spout and the lack of any support to attach it to the neck of a ewer, suggests that this may be from a double-spouted laver.
The head is flat and has vertical ears on the sides of the neck, elongated eyes and a raised nose with grooves for the nostrils. The top of the neck is keeled and the expansion where it joins the body, has flat sides.
