Figurine of a bird, possibly an eagle, looking down with an object in its beak and its wings outstretched. The bird stands on a horizontal perch below which projects a vertical shaft. The bird has crudely modelled eyes and lattice slashes on the wings, tail and both sides. Its height is 35mm. The bird is well-preserved but with patches of powdery green 'bronze disease'. The purpose of this crudely modelled object is uncertain. It may have formed a mount to a staff and may have had a religious function.

A cast copper alloy figurine, possible a gaming piece, in the form of a lion. The lion appears to be of Chinese origin and is sitting on its haunches on a square block base and is turning to look to its left. There is an aperture running from side to side between the lion's legs and there is also one running from the front. Further details on the mane are engraved. On either side of the prominent spine are symmetrical scrolling forms.

A worn head from a Roman copper alloy female standing figure. No neck survives and most of the back of the head is also missing. The head is hollow and is partly infilled with dark grey fired clay. The head has a ring of braided hair, parted in front and on the top. The hair is delineated on the top of the head by curving grooves. There is a probable diadem above and below the braids, on the front. The facial features are eroded, especially the nose. This appears to be the head from a complete standing figurine, perhaps Fortuna. Emma Durham kindly comments: There are plenty of exam…

A Roman copper alloy figurine of a naked child - a Cupid. Both hands and the right foot are missing. The front of the figurine and its facial features are a little worn but the back is better preserved. The figurine is in a running pose with the right arm raised. The right leg is kicked back. The sex of the figurine is unclear. The hair is held in a small bun at the neck and the details of the hair are engraved. Emma Durham kindly comments: The Cupid is very typical of the pieces found in Britain, the majority of which are in this stance, looking up and with the right arm rais…

A small copper-alloy figurine of a quadruped seated on a roughly rectangular plinth with its tail curled around its back and to the right. Two stubs on the animal's back may be the remains of a suspension loop. It is not clear what animal is represented here. It is probably a wolf or a dog. The date is also problematic. The figurine could possibly be Roman or maybe 17th to 19th century.
