A small bifaciall- worked and sharply tapering Neolithic flint axe measuring 102mm. The axe is polished from the blade to the butt. There is a prominent triangular facet on one blade face. The axe is manufactured from a mottled light grey flint now somewhat iron-stained.

A large part of a Neolithic polished axe comprising the blade that has been broken both transversely and laterally. The tip of the blade is glossy. The axe is made from a mottled light grey/brown flint with lighter patination. The axe was originally c 70mm wide.
