A Medieval copper-alloy quatrefoil pendant with a T-shaped suspension, 18.9mm wide. The mount has an iron bar, two large integral rivets and is decorated with a crescent and four six-point stars. For the design see Read (2016, 61) no. 444.

A sestertius of Trajan (AD 98 -117), dating to the period c. AD 103-111 (or slightly later) (Reece Period 5), (S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI), S C, Spes advancing left. RIC III, p. 281, cf. no. 519; B. Woytek, MIR p. 365, cf. 338d. The coin is of slightly crude style which initially led to the identification as a contemporary copy. However, The world authority on Trajanic coinage, Bernhard Woytek, confirms that the coin is official.

A Post Medieval silver-plated military button bearing the legend ROYAL HAMPSHIRE VOLUNTEERS around a crown. Steve Newman kindly comments: Similar recorded examples have a I. Nutting backmark (without & Son) which indicates a manufacture date of c.1794-1802 (& Son being added in 1803, dropped again c1820 when the father died). Others have been up to 18mm and very slightly convex, open back of course and thus in line with the earlier date range of the SON.
