A complete 16th century cast copper alloy sword belt fitting which comprises a plate and a hook. The plate is of complex leaf-shaped form with engraved curving lines running out from the central axis. Two rivet holes penetrate the plate for attachment to a leather strap. The hook terminates in a rounded knop. This is a common form of sword belt fitting.

A Post Medieval copper-alloy sword belt fitting. The fitting has a domed body with a hook with an iron rivet, and a sheet backplate. Within the hook is a separate trefoil fitting. The hook is 41.68mm long and the trefoil fitting is 23.18mm long. See Read no.816.
