PIETAS AVGG reverse type depicting Two Emperors standing facing one another sacrificing over an altar, the Emperor on the left holding an eagle-tipped sceptre, on the right holding a baton. A probable contemporary copy (Limesfalsum) of an as of Valerian I: (AD 253-260) (Reece Period 12), Rev: VIRTVS AVGG S C; a soldier standing left, holding a spear and a shield. Prototype Mint of Rome. RIC V, pt 1, p. 53, cf. no. 204. The light weight (2.94g) does suggest that this is a cast copy.
