A worn copper-alloy Roman nummus of Constantine II (AD 317-340), dating to the period AD 326 (Reece period 16). Reverse type depicting the legend CONSTAN/TINVS/[I]VN NOB C over three lines. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC VII, p. 329, no. 282 although with right instead of left facing bust.

The mintmark appears to be -//RPT but the die-engraver has engraved an F as a P - the published mark is -//RFT.
