The upper part of the object is flat and is pierced by three rivet holes spaced equidistantly in the form of a triangle. The longer arm is collared where it meets the flat plate and ends on a slightly pointed terminal. This object can be closely paralleled by SUR-334FE4 and is recorded here in view of broad similarities to objects of later Saxon date.
