Sherds of medieval and post-medieval pottery. There is a high proportion of S2 (coarse shelly) to Q2 ( grey/brown sandy) which suggestes 12th rather than early 13th century. The 1Q (ironstone sandy) Q1 (sand and some flint/shell) GQ2 (gritty sandy) sherds suggest late 11/early 12th century component. The proto whiteware sherd might indicate early 13th. The high proportion of rim/base angle sherds suggests collection bias.

A complete vessel spout in the shape of an animal's (possibly a dog's) head. The size and length of the spout and the lack of any support to attach it to the neck of a ewer, suggests that this may be from a double-spouted laver. The top of the neck is keeled and the expansion where it joins the body, has flat sides.
